PENELOPE is the padel racket for players who want to play well without straining. Round shape and low balance: the weight sits close to the hand and the sweet spot is wide. At 356 g ±10 it stays easy to handle for the whole match and quick to get into position, even when the ball comes in fast. In the Palbea range it is the control model.
Construction
100% carbon tubular frame, EVA High Elasticity core, two layers of fibreglass and a 3K carbon face. 38 mm thick, full playing thickness. The 3K weave is the most flexible in the range: it absorbs off-centre hits better.
Rough, textured surface
The face has a sandblasted matte finish (Sandy Surface) and 3D relief. Together they increase friction between face and ball: the ball stays on the surface a fraction of a second longer, giving you time to add spin. You feel it on slices, lobs and drop shots.
EVA core
EVA High Elasticity works like a spring: it loads on impact and gives the energy back. The ball comes off the face easily without forcing your arm.
Checked one by one
We weigh every racket and check its balance by hand after the machine test. PENELOPE came out of a testing programme in which dozens of variants were tried on court by real players: they chose it.
In the box
Thermal-reflective cover that protects the racket from heat and temperature swings in the car and in your bag. Black grip as standard and a removable, washable wrist strap.
