HECTOR is for players looking for maximum power on overheads, por tres and por cuatro. It needs solid basic technique to find the sweet spot and a good arm to handle it in defence: it's the racket that asks the most of its player, and gives the most back to those who know how to use it.

The heart of the racket
Three layers. One response.
Hard EVA is like a wooden stick: if the impact is clean, power is at its maximum; if it's off, no spring will save you. It amplifies the player, in both directions.
That's why for HECTOR we chose Multi EVA: a three-layer core, with two compact outer layers for a powerful response and a soft core that "civilises" it, taking the harsh, wooden vibrations away from your arm.

Every racket is weighed and checked one by one. If the balance isn't where we designed it, it's corrected in the handle, gram by gram. That's why we state ±10 g: it's not an approximation, it's the trace of an adjustment made by hand.

From cutting the carbon to drilling, every phase has its own check: face flatness, paint adhesion, holes compared with the approved sample.

Is HECTOR right for me?+
If you want maximum power on the smash and have solid basic technique and a good arm, yes. If you want one racket for everything, look at THESEUS; if you want control and less effort, PENELOPE.
What's the difference between 12K, 18K and 3K carbon?+
The number refers to the weave of the carbon fabric. On HECTOR the 12K focuses on stiffness to transfer all the energy to the ball. THESEUS's 18K is the densest in the range, PENELOPE's 3K the most elastic and forgiving.
What's in the box?+
The racket with a black grip fitted as standard, the removable smart strap and the Palbea thermal sleeve.
How do I clean the strap?+
The smart strap detaches from the handle and can be washed separately: no more sweat and odours on the only part of the racket that's in contact with your wrist.
Why is the weight stated as ±10 g?+
Every racket is tuned by hand: the balance is corrected by varying the filling weight in the handle. This adjustment, made piece by piece, produces a small weight variation within the stated tolerance.
Where is it made?+
We design and develop Palbea rackets in Italy (Designed in Italy). Manufacturing takes place in China, at a partner that works to our specifications and with our quality checks.
