The overgrip is not just an accessory. It's the first thing your hand touches to play. Before the racket. Before the ball. Before the court.

A few square centimeters that translate intention into movement. Thought into shot.
When the racket starts to slip, you lose confidence. And when you lose confidence, the game dies. It's not just an annoyance. It's a problem that stops you. You stop playing your best. You stop having fun.

We noticed. And from that awareness, Palbea was born.

A simple question. An obsessive answer.

We didn't start with a business plan. We started from a question:
"Why does my hand slip?"

Then we tested. Failed. Tried again. Changed materials. Revised processes. Tested again. Until we built what is probably the most grip-enhancing overgrip on the market — one that increases grip the more you sweat.

It wasn't a project to make money. It was the need to fix something that didn't work. The kind of obsession you can't let go of until you find the solution. And when that solution becomes part of a player's routine, you know you've built something special.

Forums like Reddit. Word of mouth at clubs. Spontaneous reviews in English, Spanish, German. "Best ones I've ever used." "10/10. Reordering." Comments that arrived without us spending a single euro on advertising.

This is the kind of growth that counts. Not Instagram impressions. Not campaigns that switch off when the budget runs out. The trust of a player who comes back to buy because the product kept its promise.

The padel market has two extremes. On one side, major brands: prices that include decades of marketing, testimonials, sponsorships. On the other, low-cost products — affordable, but with materials that give out after a few sessions.

We chose a third path. Smart Quality: materials and performance that compete with premium products, at prices that respect the player. Not a compromise. A precise choice about where to allocate the budget: Research & Development, materials, longevity.

The trust built with the overgrip is our license to expand. But it's also our greatest responsibility. We can't afford a ten out of ten overgrip and a seven out of ten bag. The standard is non-negotiable across every product.

The rackets arrived following the same method: relentless testing, materials developed with the same approach. FIP-approved balls. The next chapters — bags, apparel, and accessories — will follow the same sequence. Performance first. Always.
